Rev. Walt Peters has been the senior pastor of the First
Presbyterian Church of Westminster since 1999. A graduate of Baylor
University, Rev. Peters obtained his Master of Divinity from Columbia
Theological Seminary in 1978 and is currently working on his doctorate.
Rev. Peters has served as Associate Pastor of the Northminster
Presbyterian Church in Macon, Georgia and as senior pastor of the Tims
Memorial Presbyterian Church in suburban Tampa, Florida.
Rev. Peters married Rebecca in 1969 and they have
three grown children. In his spare time, he enjoys researching family
genealogy, reading and movies of the 30s and 40s.
